X-Dorkery

Y'all, I've been all up in the X-M movie-verse (and a bit into the comics, though I've sworn off trying to sort out which iteration goes where because I'm like fifty years too fuckin' late for that) for the pase few months. This is BAD. As I've said over and over for the past ten years (yep, I'm almost 28... when the hell did that happen?), I do not need another freakin' fandom... oooh... shiny... (NB: I am also in danger of spending way too much time with both Pirates and Firefly. Send help. Or links. Not picky.)

At any rate, a couple of links for the two people who both 1) read this, and 2) will be interested: X-Men #192 cover art, courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] feeferj (I had to friend her over this; it's THAT pretty). Friending her was apparently the best (or worst, if you're sick of my dorkery) thing I've done in awhile, because that linked me to 100 Things Jubilee Has Learned at the X-Mansion. If you've ever seen The 213 Things Skippy is No Longer Allowed to do in the US Army, it's along similar, side-splitting lines.

And if you know me via RL, HI! It's still weird to have Folk What Have Met Me read this, but hey, it's my fandom journal. Not that I'm not just as dorky over at the RL blog. What ev. I have to go look at cover art some more.

ETA: If you're bored, click on the "location" link and watch google try to map "My mother's Basement, y'all!"
