Back to school, and a kitty update.

Happy back to school day to US university students who started today. Mine was relatively painless. The lack of materials for my classes is slightly more distressing. The copy center that does our course packs decided that they wouldn't sell any of them until the first day. Aparently, they were not aware that most grad profs at my Uni expect you to have read in order to hold discussion during the first week. *facepalm*

EDIT: There is a living, breathing, feisty kitten sitting on my shoulder and chewing on the ties on my hooded sweatshirt. Every once in a while he nuzzles the side of my face. He's still on eating and drinking restrictions until his tummy is healed, but he must be on some damn fine painkillers, because he's acting normal... which makes me fear for his stitches.
